Colleen, you and I are on the same page spiritually because God is leading me to deepen my relationship with Him as well. In reality, we can’t reach out until we have reached in, and opened ourselves to His Holy Spirit, so that He can fully dwell within us. I think, at least for me, that it becomes easy to fly by the seat of my pants, without waiting for God’s directive. When I do that I accomplish little because it becomes something that is about me, rather than about God. All of the lockdowns here have been difficult for me but at the same time it has removed a level of distractions. These distractions were simply things that made me put my time with God aside, “until later,” only to realize “later” that I had left Him out of the picture all together.
