They do so much for the environment as well as the soul. Many a summer I would sit under the huge maple tree in my parents backyard, with a book, always a book. I would listen to the breeze blowing through their leaves. I always imagined that to be some kind of a dance, in when the tree celebrates the connection it has with the earth, all of the earth, and God. Sometimes it feels as if the trees are singing. I am hoping to get out more this summer, walking in the woods, smelling the earthy fragrances, hiking through the soft woods with nature beneath my feet. Keep sharing Colleen.
