Hello my friends!
I have arrived safely, it was an adventure just getting here. I made a small mistake at security and was searched, luckily not a totally invasive one LOL but you know leave it to me! Then of course to top it off all my bags were searched as well, turns out it was just my crazy tight packing.
The plane ride to Canada went fast as I found myself engaged in a Christ conversation with my seat mate,Jay. God definitely brought us together as he has been searching so I shared all that God has done with me. I was even able to share stories from the Bible that were fitting to our conversations!. He has not accepted Christ yet but hopefully he will soon as he had a wonderful heart. He works in Toronto securing resources for the poor and elderly and he stated he felt compelled to do the work even though the pay is not much ( I told him that was God!)
The next 2 flights and the train was not hugely eventful and I also feel my brain was shutting down so I wouldn’t know what went on! LOL Once I finally got to Naples I totally got lost trying to find the Hostel, but many nice people kept directing me. On the Metro I did have a pick pocket try to get in my sweatshirt but I rather nonchalantly moved away.
Now for the Pics!
I wish I was able to insert them so I could write a caption, or maybe I just need to learn how. Ohh before I get to the pics I should tell you about my Hostel mates! Several of the girls in my dorm are sick so today I was on a hunt for Honey, lemon, orange, ginger, cinnamon, mint. I got all but the mint ( not an important ingreadiant) I made them all tea and had them take honey mixed with cinnamon. There are 2 Cindy,s one from Argentina but getting her Italian citizenship, one from France. Alecia is from Mexico but lives in Washington (state) and she is 67! ( I am NOT the oldest, lol). Munay is Cindy’s friend ( Argentina) Mechala is from Canada and spending 3 months traveling alone. 4 of us are going to Pompai tomorrow. We had several girls leave this morning ( as I slept till 12:30 due to jet lag!) And had some new today. I am sure I will get to know them all.
So about the pics! Alecia ( from Mexico and 67) and I went out and walked for over 4 hrs. She was looking for Gallaria Edmundo ( I totally could have that all wrong) I was after food and medicine for the girls, we accomplished both and the attached are from that journey. We stopped at a church ( there was no name we could find). Saw many street performers, and of course I always love the christmas lights in Europe and I was not disappointed!
The file was to large to add the video of the street performers. Sorry about the quality of the pics I had forgotten my Phone and used my tablet to take pics.

Take care everyone!
God Bless,
Colleen
